THE INFLUENCE OF AFRICAN MOVIES ON TODAY'S FUNERALS-PALLBEARERS DANCING

Something unique has found its way unto Ghanaian mainstream funeral celebrations, where professional pall bearers and funeral directors are contracted to offer extra entertainment to the mourners. While there are many people who do not fancy this addition, others are of the school that if families have money to do it, so be it. 
Well, our research has found out that this tradition of carrying and dancing with the casket is a special ritual dance that the Asafo Companies in the Central Region especially at Mankessim have been doing.  How it found its way unto the main stream is through the Nigerian movies where those were displayed. Well many Ghanaian families have adopted this but our question is -IS THIS NECESSARY?
